Notice on Preferential Tax Policies for Imported Exhibits Sold during Exhibition Period for China International Fair for Trade in Services in 2020

    Beijing Municipal Finance Bureau, Beijing Customs District, Beijing Municipal Tax Service, State Taxation Administration, and Beijing Center for International Trade in Services,

   In order to support the smooth holding of the China International Fair for Trade in Services (the "CIFTIS") in 2020, upon approval by the State Council, the relevant issues are hereby notified as follows:

   I. Import exhibits (excluding the commodities prohibited by the State from import, endangered animals and plants and their products, tobacco, liquor and automobiles) within the quota sold at the 2020 CIFTIS are exempted from import tariffs, import value-added tax and consumption tax.

   II. The sales limit for the participating enterprises listed in the appendix to enjoy the above preferential tax policies shall not exceed the listed quota. The sales limit for other enterprises attending the Fair to enjoy preferential tax policies shall not exceed USD20,000, and the name list of such enterprises shall be determined by the Beijing Center for International Trade in Services.

   III. Tax shall be levied in accordance with the relevant provisions of the State on exhibits sold during the exhibition period exceeding the sales limit entitled to preferential tax policies, and exhibits which are not sold during the exhibition period and are not shipped out of the territory of China at the end of the exhibition period.
